Mooloolaba is a suburb and tourist resort township on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. It is located 97 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane, and is part of the Maroochydore urban centre. At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 7,333.
The Waterways of Mooloolaba are serviced by Coast Guard Mooloolaba who monitor radios 24 hours per day. Office Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 0830 to 1200.
Channels monitored include 27.88 & 27.90, VHF 16, 21, 67, 73, 80. These channels are monitored from 06:00 to 22:00 365/366 days per year. After 22:00 through to 06:00 next day only VHF 16 is monitored.
